| Easy Oven Fried Chicken Serves 4 ¾ tablespoons sea salt 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs 2 tablespoon butter 1/4 cup all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon hot sauce coarsely ground black pepper In a large zip top bad add salt, hot sauce and about 1/2 cup of warm water. Mix well. Trim thighs of fat and toss in bag with salt and water. Letting out air and squeezing it until the water covers the chicken and place in fridge for at least 4 hours, up to 8. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grab chicken from fridge and pat dry. Prepare a plate with paper towels for finished chicken. Add butter to a 8X8 baking pan. Put baking pan in the oven. In another large zip top bag add the add flour, the rest of the salt and the pepper. Mix ingredients in the bag well. Add chicken and give the bag another enthusiastic shake. Once chicken is coated well shake up off all the excess flour while taking them out of the bag. Remove baking pan from oven and place chicken skin side down in pan. Place pan back in oven and bake until chicken has browned nicely on the skin side down. About 30 minutes. Flip chicken, and cook on the other side for 20 minutes or until completely done on the inside. Remove baking pan from oven and carefully move chicken to prepared plate with paper towel. Sprinkle on a little more salt and pepper as desired. |
