| Garlic Honey Pork Chops 3 or 4 Pork Chops, ½ inch thick ¼ cup water ¼ cup honey ¼ cup vinegar ¼ cup olive oil 1 ½ Tablespoon butter 5 garlic cloves, chopped 2 green onions, chopped and dividing whites from green parts 1 ½ teaspoon minced garlic, from jar Salt to taste Pepper to taste Season both sides of pork chops with salt, pepper and minced garlic. In a large pan, over medium heat, add olive oil. Let olive oil heat up for a minute and add pork chops to the pan. Cook pork chops until just done, flipping once during cooking. Remove pork chops to a plate. Add butter to the remaining olive oil in the pan. Melt the butter into the olive oil. Add garlic, green onion whites and stir well. Add the vinegar, honey and water. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes. Add pork chops back to the pan and turn off heat. Spoon sauce over pork chops. Sprinkle remaining green onions over the top. Serve right away. |
