| New Orleans Sausage Alfredo 14 oz smoked sausage 1 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream 8 oz pasta 1/2 cup parmesan cheese 3/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 1 pinch kosher salt Cook pasta according to package directions and set aside. In a pan brown sausage over medium heat. Reduce heat to low. Add heavy whipping cream to pan with sausage, stir and cook until cream starts to thicken. Add Cajun seasoning, and and pepper. Stir a couple minutes more. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add drained pasta to pan. Stir and cook until pasta is heated through. Serve right away. Garlic bread goes great with this, or Texas toast. |
