| Double Cheeseburger If you like In n Out Burger you're going to love this Makes 1 burger Extra sauce for a couple more burgers Sauce ½ yellow onion, diced ½ dill pickle, chopped 2 ½ Tablespoons mayonnaise 2 Tablespoons ketchup 1 Tablespoon green onions, chopped ½ Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ½ Tablespoon butter ½ Tablespoon vegetable oil Burger ½ pound of ground beef, rolled in your hands into two loose rounds 90/10 or 80/20 Brioche bun 2 slices American cheese Putting it together tomato slice lettuce In a bowl add all sauce ingredients except onions, butter and oil. Set aside. In a frying pan over low heat add butter, oil and onions. Cook and stir until onions caramelized. Once caramelized remove onions and add to bowl of sauce ingredients. Mix well. Set aside. In same pan toast bun. Remove bun to serving plate and add 2 teaspoons of sauce to the bottom bun, then some lettuce and tomato slice. Raise the temperature of the pan to medium, add the two beef rounds. Flatten beef rounds with spatula and let them form a crust. Flip, add a slice of cheese to each top. Add cheeseburger patties on top of tomato slice, top with 2 more teaspoons of sauce. Serve right away. |
