Makes the equivalent to one 15 ounce can
2 T plus 1/4 t flour
2 T plus 1/4 t butter
1/2 c whole milk
1/2 c chicken broth
1/2 t salt
1/4 t black pepper
Get a medium pot under medium low heat. Add the butter to the pot. Let that melt and then swish it around a bit.
Add in the flour. Whisk the flour into the butter.
Pour in milk and whisk while pouring. Add the salt and pepper while whisking. Whisk this mixture from time to time until it comes to a boil.
Give it one final whisk and it’s ready for any recipe that calls for Campbell’s cream of chicken soup.
