Serving size varies
1/2 pound of ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
15 ounces of chicken broth
15 ounces of tomato sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon all spice
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Hot dog
1 hot dog bun, toasted if you like
1 hot dog, grilled, or boiled
1 Tablespoon chopped onion
1 squirt of yellow mustard
To make sauce, brown beef with onions on medium low. Drain. Add the rest of the sauce ingredients to meat and onions, stir. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and blend in blender, or use a emulsion hand blender until mixture is almost smooth. Freeze cooled leftover sauce in zip top bag for up to a month.
Place hot dog in bun, add hot dog sauce, onions and mustard. Enjoy.
