| Pecan and Honey Pork Chops Serves 2 2 boneless pork chops 3 Tablespoons flour 3 Tablespoons honey 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon butter 2 Tablespoons pecans, roughly chopped 2 green onions 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Cut 2 slits into the fat on the side of the pork chops. In a large bowl or zip top bag add flour, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Add pork chops and shake well. Add vegetable oil and butter to a medium sized pan over medium heat. Add the pork chops to pan and fry until golden brown, flip and brown the other side. Remove chops and place foil on top. Drain have the fat from the pan and return to heat. Reduce heat to low, add honey and pecans cook and stir up the stuff on the bottom of the pan into the pecan and honey. Serve. |
