steak, lemon and garlic stir frySteak, Lemon and Garlic Stir Fry Serves 4 1 pound,Thinly sliced top loin 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 Tablespoon soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon cornstarch 2 Tablespoon vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced ½ onion, sliced thinly Salt and pepper to taste 1 Additional teaspoon of vegetable oil In a large bowl whisk together lemon juice, sugar, soy sauce, vegetable oil, and olive oil. Salt and pepper steak. Add steak and mix well with marinade. Coat well with cornstarch. Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator from 4 hours to overnight. Stir fry in a non-stick pan over medium, high heat, check for seasonings. Cook until done. Remove from heat and add about a teaspoon of vegetable oil to the pan and add onions. Slightly soften onions and add garlic. Cook for about 30 more seconds. Spoon onions and garlic over warmed steak. Serve right away with rice or noodles. Enjoy. Peace, CK |
