Sausage and Tortellini CASSEROLE
Sausage and Tortellini Casserole
¾ cup mozzarella cheese
12 ounces of pasta sauce
9 ounce package cheese filled tortellini
½ pound Italian sausage
1 ½ Tablespoon olive oil
¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook tortellini according to package directions. In a non-stick pan over low heat brown the sausage, making sure to break it up into small pieces. Once it’s almost brown. Add the olive oil, seasoned salt, black pepper and Italian seasoning and cook for about 5 minutes more. Drain the sausage mixture if you like.
In a 8x8 baking dish add the drained tortellini to the bottom of the dish. Add the sausage mixture. Pour over the pasta sauce and top with cheese. Bake uncovered until cheese is bubbly. About 15-20 minutes.
