Roasted Asparagus with Bacon and Parmesan
Serves 4 9 ounces, trimmed and washed asparagus spears 5 Slices of bacon, chopped, cooked, drained and cooled ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon olive oil ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, or parchment paper. Add asparagus to baking sheet. Drizzle over olive oil and mix well. Make sure each piece of asparagus gets some oil. Sprinkle on salt, pepper and chili flakes. Sprinkle cheese and bacon over the top and bake for 10-20 minutes checking after 10 minutes until done. Enjoy. Peace, CK |
