Home Made Rice a Roni
Serves 4 1 ¾ cups chicken broth ¾ cup white rice ½ cup uncooked spaghetti, broken into 1 inch pieces 2 Tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon dried parsley 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon onion powder salt to taste In a medium sized pot over medium heat cook and stir rice and spaghetti pieces until spaghetti pieces start to turn a golden brown color this will take about 2 or 3 minutes. Pour in chicken broth and stir in seasonings. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and place cover on pot and reduce the heat to low. Let the rice cook for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed by the spaghetti pieces and pasta. Enjoy. Peace, CK Peace, CK |
