| Ultimate Strawberry Ice Cream Makes 1 ½ Quarts 10 oz frozen (partially thawed) or freeze strawberries (partially frozen) stems removed 1 ½ teaspoon quality vanilla extract 1 cup whole milk 1 cup sugar 1 ¼ cup heavy whipping cream 1/8 teaspoon sea salt In a large mixing cup add everything except strawberries. Stir well to dissolve the sugar. Add strawberries to a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Add strawberries to milk and cream mixture and stir well. Add ice cream base to your ice cream maker and churn according to your ice cream makers directions. Once finished churning spoon into ice cream containers or plastic containers with a tight fitting lid. Before putting the lids press some plastic wrap against ice cream to prevent ice crystals from forming. Let set up in freezer 2-3 hours. Pull ice cream out and let rest about 10 minutes before scooping. Enjoy. Peace, CK |
