| Ham And Cheese Sliders Makes 12 12 dinner rolls 12 slices black forest ham 6 slices of Swiss cheese ½ cup mayonnaise Topping 1/4 teaspoons poppy seeds 1/4 teaspoons sesame seeds ½ teaspoon of yellow mustard 2 Tablespoons melted butter 1 Tablespoon minced onion ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/8 teaspoon black pepper Egg Wash 1 egg 1 Tablespoon water Egg Wash Sprinkle Sesame Seeds Poppy Seeds Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 176 Celsius. Prepare a baking sheet with foil, silpat or parchment paper. Mix all topping ingredients together in a small bowl, set aside. Mix egg wash ingredients together in small bowl, set aside. Slice rolls in half and spread both sides if each roll with mayonnaise. Place on prepared baking sheet. Add a piece of ham to bottom of each roll, add half a slice of cheese on top of ham. Cover with top rolls. Give topping another mix and spread evenly over rolls. Let set 10 minutes. After 10 minutes is up, using a pastry brush, brush on egg wash. You will not need close to all of it. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and poppy seeds. Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes. Remove foil and bake for additional 2 minutes. Serve hot and right away. Enjoy. Peace, CK |
