by Chef Kendra Serves 4 Ingredients 4 pork chops, thin to medium 2/3 cup white wine 1/4 cup chicken stock 1/2 onion chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1 1/2 Tablespoon butter 1 1/2 Tablespoon vegetable oil 1 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 14/ teaspoon black pepper Serve over cooked egg noodles, rice or pasta Add my butter and a bit of vegetable oil to a non-stick pan over medium heat. Slosh around to combine the oil with the butter. Add 2 chops at a time. Wait patiently for one side to fully brown then flip. Remove the chops to a plate. Cook the other two chops. When they are ready move them to the plate with the other two chops. Remove half the oil and butter mixture. Add the onions and garlic to the pan. Reduce the heat to medium low. Give vegetables a stir and cook vegetables for five minutes. Turn off the heat and pour in the white wine. Turn back on the heat and stir well. Add the chicken stock and stir that in. Cook the wine, vegetables and stock until the sauce had reduced to about 1/3 then add the meat back to the pot and spoon over some of the white wine sauce. Cover the pan reduced the heat to low and let the dish simmer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes remove the top and spoon more sauce over the chops. Put the cover back on the pan and simmered for 10 more minutes. Enjoy. Peace, CK |
