Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
2-4 drops green food coloring (optional)
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
In a large bowl add sweetened condensed milk, chopped chocolate, food coloring and set aside. In a stand mixer with the whipping attachment or using an electric hand mixer whip cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold the heavy whipping cream into bowl with the condensed milk and other ingredients.
Remove ice cream to an ice cream or plastic container. Place some plastic wrap directly on the ice cream and place in freezer for 3 or 4 hours to set.
