Microwave Croutons
Makes 6 servings 4 slices of bakery style Italian bread 2 Tablespoons butter, melted Garlic powered to taste Italian seasoning to taste Using a pastry brush, brush both sides of each slice of bread. Sprinkle on some garlic powder and Italian seasonings on both sides of bread slices. Using a bread knife cut bread in to 1 inch cubes. Place cubes on a large microwave safe plate in a single layer. Microwave cubes on high for 4 minutes. Remove from microwave and let cool. They are now ready to add to your salad. If you don't want to use the croutons right away put them in an airtight container after they have fully cooled for up to 3 days. Enjoy. Peace, CK |
