Macaroni and Cheese Stovetop
Serves 6
1 Pound of macaroni
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ c of heavy whipping cream
1 c of whole milk
4 T butter
¾ t salt
¾ black pepper
1 T yellow mustard
¼ t cayenne pepper or 1 T hot sauce
Cook macaroni according to package directions and return to the pot that the macaroni was cooked in.
Make sure the heat is off. Place cream and milk in a microwave safe container and microwave for one minute, or heat in a sauce pot until hot but not boiling.
Add all of the ingredients to the macaroni pot, and stir well. Serve right away. Enjoy.
