Chili Cheese Fries
Serves 5-7 Ingredients 15 oz can Chili, Canned your favorite store bought 22 oz bag store bought regular or seasoned fries Sauce 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch 3 Tablespoons water 2 cups whole milk 2 Tablespoons butter 10 slices of American Cheese, torn into pieces 1/8 teaspoon black pepper Mix cornstarch and water together in a bowl and set bowl aside. Cook fries and chili according to their package directions. Get a sauce pan over medium heat. Add the butter and the milk just until boiling starts while whisking . Whisk in the cornstarch and water mixture. Lower heat to medium low. Add black pepper and cheese and whisk until cheese sauce is creamy. Place fries on a plate or platter, add cheese, then pour over chili. Top with green onions or chives if desired. Serve right away and enjoy. Peace, CK |
