by Chef Kendra Serves 30-38 Ingredients 1 inch loaf french bread, cut into 1/4-1/3 inch slices 5 Tablespoons olive oil 1 additional Tablespoon olive oil 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 4 garlic cloves, chopped 2 1/2 Tablespoons, chopped Italian flat leaf parsley 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt Directions Preheat oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium bowl mix 1 Tablespoon olive oil, cheese and garlic well. Line a baking sheet with a baking mat, parchment paper, or foil. Lay bread slices in a single layer onto baking sheet. You are going to need two baking sheets or just make one batch at a time. Brush slices of bread with olive oil. Evenly add cheese and garlic mixture over the bread slices. Sprinkle over salt. Bake for 8-10, or just until the cheese starts to melt. Remove from oven, sprinkle the parsley over the top. Serve right away. Enjoy. Peace, CK |
A little bit of heaven!Crostini is the kind of thing that’s great on it’s own. They’re great for cocktail parties along with drinks but these “little toast” are also wonderful with soup. Bursting with nutty Parmesan and garlic flavor and a satisfying crunch these little guys are always a hit.
