| Fast Pizza Dough by CK Makes 1 10 inch pizza dough 1 ¼ cup of flour 1/2 cup of water, around 110 degrees 1 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast 1 Tablespoons olive oil 1 Tablespoons of honey ½ teaspoon sea salt more olive oil for drizzling on dough Preheat oven to 450 degrees F or 232 C. In a bowl mix add yeast, honey and warm water. Let sit 5 minutes to foamy up. In larger bowl mix flour and salt. This is a great time to gather your toppings. I used mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, pepperoni and pizza sauce. After 5 minutes and yeast mixture has foamed up pour yeast mixture into bowl with the flour and salt. Add 1 Tablespoon of olive oil and mix with folk until well combine. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes. Be mindful that you may need to add just a bit more flour depending on your climate. Dough should be just a touch sticky. Grab your pizza pan and very lightly flour your pan and flour your hands. With floured hands spread dough onto pizza pan into a 10 inch circle. Drizzle a little olive oil on top. Add your toppings and bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. Serve immediately. Enjoy. Peace, CK. |
